After parking up in your own marked parking space, enter the garden and follow the pathway through the french doors to the large airy sitting room, with its old stone fireplace, flagstone floor and antique furnishings, warmed by subtle lighting and wood burning effect electric stove.

through the opening is the-large fully equipped kitchen ideal for preparing those romantic meals for two a well-designed shower room in keeping with the victorian style and charm of the building.

A chic good sized bedroom with king size bed has double doors leading out to a small courtyard.

A laurel hedge surrounds the sunny front garden, planted with the victorian heritage in mind ferns honeysuckle and roses abound designed to attract birds bees and other wildlife, all can be enjoyed from the large wooden bench in the surrounding main garden is a cedar wood Canadian hot tub open for use 24hours a day (via prior arrangement with the owner) situated under an old oak tree on a wooden balcony taking in the best of the local views. Also violable on request a bottle of champagne with hand made chocolates and fresh flowers for just £45.

Okehampton is a busy market town on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park and near the highest and most dramatic areas of the moor, where Yes Tor rises to a height above 2000 feet. To the north of Okehampton are some beautiful rolling Devon hills where small farming villages nestle amidst woods and fields with plenty of gently flowing rivers. The fabulous Roadford Reservoir offers a multitude of watersport activities and fishing opportunities. Okehampton has a prominent medieval castle overlooking a wooded river valley, the Museum of Dartmoor Life (where Tourist Information can be found) and Okehampton train station, which has been restored to its 1950s glory running trains along a scenic route to Meldon the highest station in southern England. The town also has spectacular views across Dartmoor, access to fabulous walks and Simmons Park where you’ll find a children’s adventure playground. This area of Devon has plenty of farm shops and country inns serving good food where visitors can spend time relaxing and unwinding amongst unspoilt countryside.
