Set in the grounds of the owners’ home, this detached farmhouse has easy access to the coast and Exmoor, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Parracombe.

Enter the retreat into the hallway, which continues over to a country style kitchen/diner, centred by a grand dining table with pendant lighting above, and a contemporary kitchen which borders the side of the room for a fantastic place to chef up those delicious meals.

Across the way, be amazed by the sitting room and its three sumptuous pastel sofas, which sit before a woodburning stove tucked away beneath a stone fireplace, tied together with a warm floor rug.

Relax here, whilst the children make the most of the snug elevated by an L-shape sofa also home to a collection of games for some fun family time.

The upper level reveals five exceptional bedrooms, presented in a variety of styles from a beautiful family suite, to king-size rooms, and a lovely bunk room.

With zip/link options, en-suite bathrooms and TV's included, you can pick and choose your own little haven in line with your preferences.

Outside there is a drive leading across to the enclosed lawn area accessed via four steps with seating and charcoal barbecue.

Set in a peaceful location within Exmoor National Park which has Dark Sky status, and within two miles of the South West Coastal Path, there is much to appreciate including superb cycling and walking direct from the property.

Sandy beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Combe Martin await, and the historic villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are not to be missed.

Local family attractions include Watermouth Castle, The Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoo.

For nature lovers, it’s the perfect setting for red deer, buzzards, bats and owls.

In and around Parracombe, encounter acres of heather-clad moorland, wooded valleys and crystalline trout streams and if you are fortunate - red deer and the Exmoor ponies. Capture photographs of where the moor meets the sea. Be inspired by majestic cliffs and rocky coves. Guided Exmoor ranger walks are also available both along the coast and inland. At the point where the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty meet, is where you'll find Combe Martin. This small seaside resort, with all of the necessary amenities, is a great attraction for locals and visitors alike, and is home to a very popular beach as well its own Dinosaur Park! Follow the 230 hidden steps down to Golden Cove for some spectacular views. Situated on the South West Coast Path, Combe Martin is also home to several dog-friendly pubs and local stores; great for provisions along your journey. If you fancy getting out on the water, book a chartered fishing or wildlife trip, or alternatively hire a kayak and take to the calm waters in the bay.
