  • “We had a lovely week at Little Fern Cottage.”

It was comfortable, well provided for (cutlery, crockery, heaters, bedding, dishwasher, etc); very clean and very welcoming (tea, coffee, cake, flowers) and homely. For us the location was ideal: "on a farm" and at the same time easily accessible from the main road. Despite being relatively close to a main road - you do not near any traffic noise when you are in the cottage; on the contrary, extremely peaceful. We were able to visit Dartmoor national park; Lydford Gorge , Drogo Castle; Buckland Abbey, Tavistock, Okehampton, Dartington Factory (Great Torrington); RHS Rosemoor Gardens - all literally less than half an hour's drive, ideal. the patio has sun in the morning and lovely for a leisurely breakfast.
