This was a lovely and relaxing stay, off the beaten track with great views. There is quite a long, very narrow and winding road to access the property which would not suit everyone, but those seeking a quiet location will love it. Shops are about 4 miles away but there is a good pub in the village about one and a half miles away. There is quite a long, very narrow and winding road to access the property which would not suit everyone, but those seeking a quiet location will love it. Shops are about 4 miles away but there is a good pub in the village about one and a half miles away. The host, Jessica, is very welcoming and equips the cottages so that everyone has a very comfortable stay. She also provides a menu of dishes she enjoys cooking so that guests can order meals from her that she delivers. We tried a very generous sized fish pie and side salad and it was delicious. We enjoyed our stay in this quiet area on the borders of Devon and Dorset.
