  • "Property was idyllic."

Everything we needed was available. It was only a 10 min walk from the sea front maybe a bit longer coming back uphill. If you have a reasonable level of fitness then it’s not an issue. (Most of Lyme Regis is hilly). Great property if you have a dog with its enclosed pet safe garden. It was far enough from the hustle and bustle for some peace and quiet but close enough to walk to all the amenities that Lyme Regis has to offer. The parking space was a real bonus located at the back of the property. There were some great walks for the dog straight from the property with a small area of woodland 2 minutes away. There were no real issues except the TV signal. Not sure if there was a knack to using the TV but couldn’t see any instructions if there were any. We had a great time in a lovely setting. Would definitely like to stay again.

  • "We enjoyed our stay very much."

The situation of our cottage was idyllic. We did feel the beds were rather firm for us and the pillows too. I would say the property was a little tired. But overall good accommodation.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Just goes to show that you cant please everyone. Property Owner

  • "A lovely cottage in a peaceful setting near the town and sea."

It was clean and welcoming with a surprise goody bag of local foods. The apple drink was especially delicious. The beds were comfortable, the bath and shower facilities good. The only downside was the inclement weather but we still had a very enjoyable week.

Glad you enjoyed your hamper and stay at Springhill cottage. Unfortunately we can't control the weather. Property Owner

  • "We have stayed in this cottage a few times now and always enjoy the experience."

It is in a great location and has parking which is a bonus with Lyme Regis properties. The cottage is clean and well maintained, and was the perfect base for our stay. The only thing we would change are the duvets and pillows on the beds. The pillows now need replacing as really flat and the duvets are too think for such a warm cottage. Other than those really picky points it’s a wonderful home from home.

Thanks for your positive feedback I try as hard as possible to make sure guests have an enjoyable experience. I will certainly replace the pillows and have a look at summer weight duvets. Regards Ross Smith Property Owner

  • "It is a beautiful cottage in a lovely setting."

We did think the garden and garden furniture could have been a little better, the furniture wasn't very comfortable. I found the tap on the bath in the main bathroom very stiff and it would have been useful to have a mirror in the bedroom opposite. We loved Lyme Regis and would love to return and happily to the same cottage. The area around the cottage was very peaceful and altogether calming. Stunning views.

Thanks for your feedback. We will have a look at the mixer towel tap during our maintenance schedule early next year and also check the status of the mirrors in all of the bedrooms. Point taken with regard to the garden furniture. Property Owner
