    “It was a wonderful week spent with all my family.”

    We occupied two houses next to each other and it worked perfectly! The houses were very welcoming and comfortable, but above all, they were spotless and the beds comfortable. All items of furnishing, accessories were of excellent quality and had the weather been wet, we could have easily occupied ourselves indoors. I think Interior Designers must have been involved in the design of these houses, as they were modern and up to date with lovely colour schemes etc. which we found relaxing after ...

The property

With a terrace and garden, and four bedrooms, 2 Combehaven is a fantastic pet-friendly three-storey townhouse situated within a short walk of Salcombe’s bustling restaurants, upmarket shops and famous waterside.

This property has a modern granite kitchen with an open plan dining / kitchen area and a chic, nautical decor.

Amenities in the kitchen include an AEG gas hob and oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

The lounge has a sofa, television, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, hi-fi and French doors which open out onto a balcony with views over the town towards Batson Creek. Four bedrooms in total: a master bedroom with a King-sized bed and en-suite with Bette steel bath, shower (over), hand basin, w.c, shaver point and heated towel rail.

The second bedroom has a single bed with a stacked one beneath.

Third, is a king-sized double which can be unzipped and turned into a twin on request.

Lastly, a single room has been built into the eaves.

There is also a separate shower bathroom.

The garden and terrace are at the rear of the property and has a charcoal barbeque along with a table and chairs.

There is also a ground floor drying room.

Offering flexible, well-presented accommodation, 2 Combehaven is a fantastic base for exploring Salcombe’s sandy beaches, walking the South West Coast Path, or trying watersports such as sailing, stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking.

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
