5 Glenthorne House is a superb two-bedroom first floor apartment located within a Victorian villa, within easy walking distance to the heart of Salcombe.

This apartment has an open planned kitchen/ lounge /dining room featuring a newly furnished and well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating for 4 guests to dine together and a stylishly designed lounge.

Kitchen amenities include a range of attractive wall and floor units, four ring induction hob and electric oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.

The lounge has two cosy leather sofas, some occasional furniture, a TV, DVD player and offers fantastic views out over the Estuary.

There is also a large family bathroom with bath, shower (over) w.c, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

Accommodating four guests, the property has two bedrooms.

The master bedroom has a comfortable large King size bed, wardrobe and dressing table.

The second bedroom comprises of two single beds and an occasional day bed.

Within easy reach of the sandy beaches at East Portlemouth, North Sands and South Sands, the location is ideal for a family beach holiday or coastal break, with the South West Coast Path offering stunning walking routes nearby.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
