The cottage

Each one of the Grafton Towers apartments have been individually designed to the highest standards and occupies an enviable position within Salcombe, situated between North Sands and South Sands beaches.

5 Grafton Towers is a spacious first floor apartment with sea views over the estuary to Prawle Point.

The kitchen is bespoke with oak fittings, polished granite worktops, Kuppersbusch appliances including a ceramic hob and oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

The open plan sitting / dining room is light and airy, with a table seating six to eight people, a large corner sofa and TV with DVD player and hi-fi. Each bedroom is pleasantly decorated with the master enjoying a King-size bed, estuary views and an en suite with a shower, hand basin, w.c, shaver point and heated towel rail.

There are also French doors which lead out onto the balcony.

The next bedroom is at the rear of the apartment with two twin beds.

The third features bunk beds.

In addition to the en suite is a family bathroom with a bath, shower (over), hand basin, w.c, shaver point and heated towel rail.

Boasting stunning estuary views, the private balcony is furnished with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or al fresco dining.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
