    “This was a trip down memory lane.”

    We holidayed in Salcombe for over 20 years until our children had grown up. It is a beautiful, typical Devon holiday destination. We know the area very well and it still brings a smile to the face. We revisited many of the familiar pubs, cafes and restaurants. A new addition for us was the Co Op. We were able to buy supplies for our apartment for breakfast, etc. so we didn't have to take anything with us. ...

We were able to buy supplies for our apartment for breakfast, etc. so we didn't have to take anything with us. 7 The Salcombe offered comfortable facilities for a couples visit. The icing on the cake was the view - spectacular!

All residents of ‘The Salcombe’ have exclusive use of their fabulous facilities, including a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool, communal gardens, mooring and parking space. With beautiful views of Salcombe estuary towards South Pool, 7 The Salcombe is a stylish garden studio flat makes for an idyllic base for a romantic getaway.

Small but modern, this cosy property has a bedroom area with a comfortable King-size bed to sleep two people, and a small sink unit with mirror and shaver socket, plus a shower room.

A delightful sunroom/kitchenette is the perfect spot for enjoying a local tipple, or to relax in sunshine.

From the property, patio doors slide open to access the communal garden.

Enjoy discovering hidden coves, sandy beaches and delicious local eateries.

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

Region Information

The Salcombe residents enjoy exclusive use of the private outdoor heated swimming pool which is normally available from late May to late September each year (subject to change). Due to Covid-19 restrictions the swimming pool may not be open during your stay.

Wifi provided is communal for residents of The Salcombe Apartments.
