“Not suitable for the elderly because of number of steps.”

    - Mr Murray, June 2019

This property is part of the Coast & Country Cottages collection.
Choose from over 400 properties in Salcombe, Dartmouth and the surrounding South Devon coast and countryside - the perfect destination for a holiday all year round.

The property

Burleigh is located in a relatively quiet area of Salcombe, and only 5-7 minutes’ walk into town.

The harbour and estuary, popular with sailors and other watersports enthusiasts, is very close by. Steps lead up from the parking area to the upper ground floor, and into a lobby.

Stairs lead up to the living accommodation on the top two floors. To the front of the property is a very comfortably furnished and spacious sitting room and good views.

There is direct, level access from the sitting room to the master bedroom and kitchen.

The well equipped, open-plan kitchen/dining area leads out to a large area of decking, with access to an upper terrace and the terraced garden. Three en suite bedrooms, including a master bedroom with views towards the creak, a super-King size bed and en suite. On the top floor (built into the roof space) are two bedrooms, the first of which has a double bed plus a single bed, and an en suite shower room.

The second is a twin room with two single beds (one 3’ and one 2’6” in width and therefore suitable for one adult and one child only) with en suite shower room. To the rear of the property is an area of decking with table and chairs.

Steps lead up to a lovely raised terrace with bistro table and chairs, and lovely views.

Just a short walk to Salcombe’s pretty waterfront, where you can enjoy fresh Salcombe crab and locally caught seafood at one of the many restaurants or sample some delicious ice cream whilst soaking up the wonderful views.

Hop on the tiny foot passenger ferry over the estuary to visit glorious sandy beaches or Salcombe’s North Sands beach.
