    Thank you for your feedback Mr Cook. Having recently stayed at the property ourselves we have managed to address the anomaly with the channels which offer live streaming. We do not have access to Freeview channels but hope our guests find plenty of choice with channels available on the Smart TV. The property

Nestled in the heart of the unspoilt village of Shaldon, situated paces away from amenities and the stunning beach is the Grade II listed, Camillo that was built in 1725.

This location is the ideal base for a group of friends or couples wishing to escape to the exquisite seaside.

Pull up outside the abode and be greeted by the welcoming atmosphere of the community as you unload your luggage; head through the gate and get ready for your holiday to begin!

Step inside and admire the stain-glassed door as you kick off your sandy shoes and locate the well equipped, modern kitchen, amply-equipped including a Frankie instant hot water tap (no waiting for kettles to boil) to rustle up a heart-warming meal for your group.

Settle down around the dining table, pop open a bottle of fizz and toast to a wonderful escape to the Devonshire coast.

After dinner, make your way over to the sofa where you can rest your feet after an action-packed day at Shaldon Beach; throw a log in the wood burner and admire the colourful rug, supplying this room with character.

As the evening comes to an end, venture upstairs to the beautifully appointed bathroom, soak amongst the bubbles and allow yourself a moment of relaxation.

When sleep calls, the first floor offers two sumptuous doubles, one boasting an en-suite shower room for a refreshing rinse in the morning; both rooms feature an ornamental fireplace to accentuate the history of this property.

Wake-up to a steaming cup of coffee in the rear courtyard; take a leisurely seat at the garden table and breathe in the sea-air.

Take advantage of your excellent location with its great selection of shops, friendly pubs and delightful cafes.

Be sure to take a stroll to Shaldon Beach where you can enjoy a range of activities such as, swimming, sailing, rock pool exploring and when you fancy a new scenery head to the nearby beaches Teignmouth Beach or go through Smugglers tunnel to Ness Cove beach.

When the tide is out the large area of the Saltings in the middle of the estuary is accessible for shell collecting.

Up the hill at the back of the village is Homeyards the botanical gardens with wonderful views over the Estuary and on clear days the Jurassic Coast.

Visit the seaside town of Torquay for lunch with a spectacular sight from the marina, art galleries, fabulous gardens and the fascinating Babbacombe Model Village to see the 4 acre, fictional village.

Have a wild day in the town of Paignton at Paignton Zoo, boasting over 2,500 animals or take a walk down the long stretch of sandy beach, with a promenade, traditional pier and delicious eateries to experiment.

Shaldon is a pretty Regency village on the opposite bank to the historic, seaside town of Teignmouth in South Devon, situated on the mouth of the Teign estuary and boasts a selection of pubs, shops, tea rooms for your amenities. Boasting a number of tourist attractions, including a small zoo, something your little ones will delight in, whilst you can explore the popular Shaldon Approach Golf Club and Shaldon Botanical Gardens. Due to its coastal location, you will have opportunities for those interested in watersporting activities, such as fishing and sailing. A popular village less than four miles away from the thriving seaside town of Torquay.
