  • "We had a great week - we were very fortunate with the weather - but even if it had been less good, the house and the environment would be very comfortable for a holiday."

Seaton is in a perfect place, with wonderful views, walks and trips out. We really enjoyed ourselves

Thanks for your comments, glad you enjoyed your stay. Chris and Cathy Property Owner

  • "Beautiful property in a beautiful location."

Plenty of amenities right on the doorstep - large Tesco, lots of pubs, take aways, shops and the beach just over the road. When we arrived we had a welcome gift of wine, milk and biscuits, we even had a Christmas Tree in the lounge as we spent our Christmas there, thank you. Perfect for our dog too.

  • "Lovely town house right on the esplanade."

Lots of shops, restaurants, take outs (Le Pisani pizzas were very good) & pubs within walking distance. House was clean, warm & comfortable with everything we needed. Lovely lounge with sea views. Great for a dog as there is a back yard & the pebble beach is just across the road. Great walks to Beer, Branscombe beach (great cafe for lunch here), Axmouth (Harbour Inn Sunday roast was fabulous) & Lyme Regis.

  • "We have enjoyed a memorable week in this most comfortable of houses."

Chief delight has been the ever present sea, in every mood, from still calm in the moonlight to the pounding surf of Storm Eunice. But we have revelled in the luxury of enjoying the sea views from each floor in total warmth and comfort. When the sun has shone, the bench outside is ideal for enjoying a coffee while watching the world (and their dogs) passing by. And with the beach just a few steps across the road it has been a joy to be able to pop out for a quick stroll along the Esplanade, in to the town or onward to Beer or Axmouth. Very well equipped, with convenient parking, impeccable wi-fi and smart television, 14 Lyme Mews is a home we look forward to revisiting. Thank you

    The house is beautifully situated.

  • "This is a great property in location, facilities and comfort."

The window in the lounge is a real bonus, friendly neighbours, and a car parking space are all sought after additions. A minor thing which would make it even better would be some more hangers in wardrobes, and ensuring all the crockery and cutlery is clean from previous guests. Would definitely recommend

  • "Wonderful located house facing the sea."

Very clean and equipped property within walking distance of the shops and supermarket. The property is advertised as having linen and heating included but in order to get heat you must email or text the owner, who control of the heating from Dorset. We had to text twice to get heat and had no heat at all in the bedrooms, even though we were informed it was showing 20 degrees in the one bedroom. Such a shame as the weather was wet and windy all week (with the exception of one day).

Loos on all three floors! View of sea from front lounges, huge TESCO 5 mins walk away, yet quiet location, beds and chairs comfortable. The vintage trams, BEER and LYME REGIS short drive away. Just needed some warmer weather to make it the perfect holiday home

A superb view of the sea from the lounge window so you can watch the waves even if the weather isn't great! Private parking space at the back of the property which is easily accessible. Close to large supermarket which was very handy. Televisions in 2 of bedrooms and good WiFi which kids were happy about and lovely to have an extra snug room also. Would recommend.

Everything was there, a very well spec’d kitchen, all appliances and utensils, crockery etc was spot on. We couldn’t have wished for a better week away. Would happily return to this property and it has set a very high benchmark for others to follow. Parking is safe, property was very clean and tidy, the location was spot on.

  • "I was the first guest to stay at this newly redecorated house."

It was therefore very clean and most appliances were new. It is a very comfortable, welcoming house, situated directly on the sea front. The road outside is quiet, so one can hear the waves of the sea through open windows, which I find very soothing. Parking is at the rear of the house, accessed from a different road. A Tesco store is a short walk from the house, as is the centre of Seaton with other shops and restaurants. I thoroughly recommend this house for a seaside holiday.
