A delightful barn conversion, one of a group of farm cottages set around a traditional courtyard, on the owners' 330 acre dairy working farm, in a peaceful rural location near North Molton in North Devon.

Ideal for a quiet getaway, this cottage has a wonderful outlook across pretty meadows and vibrant green rolling hills.

Inside are a wealth of features such as exposed beams and stone fireplace with a woodburner, to provide a cosy holiday cottage for eight.

On the ground floor is a sitting room with dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.

Upstairs are two more bedrooms and a second bathroom.

Guests have the use of a shared patio garden and children will love the play area, thoughtfully equipped to occupy them whilst the adults explore the meadows to spot the varied wildlife that frequent the farm, including pheasants, deer, foxes and buzzards.

Nearby North Molton offers all of the essentials, whilst South Molton has a selection of traditional shops selling local produce including a range of gift shops, home and jewellery shops and a pannier market which is held twice a week.

There is also a selection of excellent tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and wine bars.

Exmoor is an ideal base with activities to suit everybody including Exmoor National Park, an inspiring landscape with fantastic walking, horse riding, cycling, fishing and birdwatching.

With dark night skies, stunning coastlines and heather-clad moors this area is a hidden gem.

The ancient village of North Molton is an ideal base from which to explore Exmoor and North Devon’s dramatic coast.

The village boasts a friendly pub, Post Office and a village shop offering home-grown produce from local farms and delicious home-baked goods, while just a few miles away, the pretty town of South Molton offers a range of shops and a twice weekly market.

Being pleasantly close to both coastal and inland beauty spots, this quaint village is sure to suit visitors of all tastes.

Within easy reach are forests, moors, rivers and beaches, along with churches and other buildings of historical significance, whilst just a mile or so away is the border of the Exmoor National Park.

There is superb walking on the South West Coast Path and the North Devon coastline is varied and interesting.

Visit the National Trust's Watersmeet Gorge, Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway.

Up on Exmoor, there are various walks to suit all abilities, as well as pretty places worth visiting including Tarr Steps, Landacre Bridge and the charming little village of Withypool.

Further afield, the resorts of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are well worth a visit, and for some of the best beaches in the country, a day trip to Woolacombe and Saunton are not to be missed..
