Just a short walk from Salcombe’s boutique, shops and eateries, ‘The Salcombe’ apartments are situated in an enviable position, on the beautiful waterfront in central Salcombe.

With magnificent views of the main anchorage, towards South Pool Creek, this charming property is the perfect base for a South Devon coastal break.

A spacious second floor apartment, this home can be accessed directly from Fore Street.

This is a fantastic homely base for a family to enjoy all that South Devon has to offer, in the comfort of this charming property. The well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, hob with extractor, dishwasher, fridge and microwave, to make cooking a delight.

From the spacious open plan lounge and dining room, patio doors open to the enviable balcony.

The balcony has two sun loungers, a table and chairs for four, to make the most of ‘sunny Salcombe’ without having to leave your holiday home.

You and your loved ones can rest sleepy heads and tired legs in the two bedrooms.

The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite shower room, and the second bedroom is a twin bedroom with two single beds.

This is an excellent place for relaxing, or you can head out to visit stunning beaches, trying your hand at various water sports, or walk along the striking South West Coast Path.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en suite shower room (shower, w.c., wash-hand basin, heated towel rail and extractor fan), 1 x twin beds. Additional bathroom (bath, w.c., wash-hand basin, hand held shower, heated towel rail). Lounge / dining room. Well equipped kitchen. Balcony.

  • All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided – guests need to bring there own teatowels, beach towels and oven gloves.

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

Region Information

Please note, regretfully no children under 8 years are allowed on the balcony, due to open aspect of balcony railings. The lift is not available to the second floor, but there is level access directly from Fore Street. The Salcombe residents enjoy exclusive use of the private outdoor heated swimming pool which is available from early May to late September each year (subject to change), please check with office for confirmed dates.
