    Our only suggestions on improvements, would be a dress mirror in the main bedroom. Also blackout liners would be beneficial when it’s very hot. Other than that. We look forward to returning next year. Thank you

    Perfect location, weather. We were 2 families sharing and it was perfect for us all. The mooring was very useful as we had a boat with us and the pool was great for the younger children. Would definitely return again.

    Beautiful lounge with lovely view and we enjoyed the garden and the pool. The probwith there only being one set of keys was sorted for us before we arrived so we had 2 sets. Garden chairs (4) were already there - if we had known it would have saved us from bringing our own. Highly recommend.

  • "Some of the beds are quite hard!"

    Mix-up with one bedroom/bed/linen, sorted, but took too long! More actual keys for the apartment would be good, as it sleeps 7, if 'we' dont all go out at the same time & return at the same time, we are not all able to access the apartment!!! Mirror in master bedroom, we mentioned this when we stayed last year too!! On the plus side, its a beautiful apartment, location is to die for & having the pool, which is heated is just the icing on a gorgeous cake! Oh, & its slap bang in the center of Salcombe, what isn't there to like! Sadly, looks like next year we will be priced out of staying, as cost of rental looks to have sky-rocketed out of all proportions!!

On request we can supply guests with a second set of keys for the property as we understand the property may be occupied by guests who wish to go off and explore Salcombe on their own. It is a shame to see your comment regarding the pricing as 4 The Salcombe do not release their pricing until September so until then it would be hard to say whether this would be outside of your budget.   • "The problem we had was that on arriving the keys were not in the key safe and staff were unable to locate same so had to give us the office master set!"

    ! Additionally we were not issued with a parking permit but this did not present a problem. The stay was most enjoyable with the bonus of perfect weather for the time of the year. I am sure we will return in the future.

    Keys are collected from Coast & Country (not the key safe!) who should also be able to provide guests with a second set if requested. Coast & County should also provide your parking permit when you collect the keys. Thank you. Property Owner

    Once again flat 4 and Salcombe gave us a holiday we always enjoy and always want to return to - but very disappointed this year to learn we cannot book for next year as we have always done as this system has changed without our knowledge and bookings have already been taken for our 2 weekly slot

The Salcombe’ apartments are located in the heart of Salcombe on its idyllic waterfront, in short walking distance to boutique shops, cafes and eateries.

Residents have exclusive use of the private outdoor heated swimming pool, available annually from May to September (subject to change) communal gardens, one allocated parking space per flat and mooring.

This contemporary coastal apartment has wonderful waterside views, that’s reflected in the interior with stylish seaside features.

With four lovely bedrooms, the property sleeps seven comfortably, perfect for an extended family or family groups.

4 The Salcombe has a stunning lounge with four lovely bay windows that look out over the picturesque gardens and estuary.

Comfortably seating seven people, the lounge has ample seating, a coffee table, sideboard and flatscreen TV, making for a very sociable space.

This elegant apartment has four lovely bedrooms, including a beautiful master suite.

A fabulous tiled en suite bathroom has a bath and shower (over), which is lovely some ‘me time’.

The second bedroom is a twin room, and the third is a charming room with bunk beds.

Newly created, the fourth bedroom is a delightful single bedroom with access to the garden.

In addition to the en suite is a gorgeous, fully tiled shower room with a spacious walk in shower.

About the location

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

The Salcombe residents enjoy exclusive use of the private outdoor heated swimming pool which is normally available from 29th April to late September each year (subject to change).
