  • “Lovely to have pint of milk and bread.”

Private even though next to owner residence. Good accessibility inside. 2 mins walk to pub but car for anything else. Good central driving location for towns.

The property

Set in the timeless village of Tatworth, in South Somerset, is the delightful Parrocks Farm Annex.

This converted barn has been transformed into a welcoming holiday home that enjoys breath-taking views across South Chard and down over the Somerset fields.

Entering the property, a kitchen is wonderfully appointed to the front and holds all the necessary appliances for some home-cooking.

Here, you can enjoy a relaxing evening together as a family and take advantage of the TV as you unwind on the plush seating.

Choose from two well-presented bedrooms, set up as a king-size and a double/ twin, most suitable for two couples or families to get some much needed rest for the days ahead.

Each bedroom has wardrobe/ hanging space for storing your personal belongings and are served by an en-suite shower room and a bathroom with an elegant bath and shower over to prepare for your day in style.

Step outside to the courtyard garden area with a warm cup of tea and watch the sun rises over the horizon as you catch up on some reading.

Perched between the Blackdown Hills AONB and the Dorset AONB, the quaint village of Chard is perfectly placed in a remote location for accessing a number of sites across three bustling regions of Somerset, Devon and Dorset.

Explore the rich natural landscapes via trails for walking, hiking and cycling.

A 20 minute drive will take you to the beach of Lyme Regis with plenty of watersporting activities available.

Set in a converted 16th century building, the Chard Museum has plenty of displays which detail its rich history and heritage since the 13th century.

Travel further afield towards the coast of Devon and Dorset and spend the day at one of its delightful beaches; build sandcastles, learn how to surf or simply lie back and soak up the sun during the summer months.

The Annex, Parrocks Farm is a wonderful choice for families, friends or two couples seeking a peaceful retreat.
