  • "We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wreath Cottage, Tatworth."

The cottage was very clean, had everything that we needed. Poppy and Noel the owners made us very welcome. Would definitely return.

  • "Lovely annexed cottage on one floor so ideal for the older visitor, pleasant outdoor facilities and delightful owners,."

  • "Although we enjoyed our stay, there were a couple of things that could have been better."

Although the shower room was lovely, the shower was intermittent and not very hot, with no storage for toiletries, so they were all on the floor, which wasn't ideal. The crockery wasn't very plentiful for the three of us and neither was the cutlery, which was old, so we had to use the dishwasher twice a day - no dishwasher tablets supplied! Some cushions on the sofa would have made it more comfortable as well.

There was scones, butter, bread and orange juice for me on arrival. My dog was made very welcome. I travelled lots to reach any locations I wanted to visit, this was okay for me.

  • "We loved our stay at the cottage."

It is in a pretty, rural area in Somerset with the borders of Devon and Dorset close by so you have the advantage of having all 3 counties on your doorstep. The property is dog friendly and the owners have provided a folder with information on local dog friendly walks and places to visit. There was also a separate building across the courtyard where our teenage daughter stayed and enjoyed a bit of space from us! We particularly enjoyed our trips to Bridport, West Bay, Lyme Regis and the tram at Seatton.
