We couldn’t fault it - except for one very small suggestion - a shelf in the bathroom (nowhere to put things). The pub next door is also very friendly and dogs are welcome, though if you want to eat - you should book. We would definitely book this cottage again and have already recommended. Thank you so much for a lovely restorative holiday. Sunnyside it is a beautiful location and the gardens, private woodland and field were amazing for our little dog. It was incredibly private to the point we really only caught sight of the owner twice. Sunnyside is extremely clean and very well equipped. The small enclosed garden faces south and again is very private. My elderly parents slept in the bedroom on a very comfortable bed. I slept on the bed settee, unfortunately I did have lower back pain before the holiday and the mattress on the bed settee for an adult wasn’t padded enough ( the addition of a better mattress is needed). A child’s weight on it would be absolutely fine. The local pub is 5 minutes away on foot and is under new management and the food was very well priced and absolutely delicious. Diane and Brian make Honey it looks delicious and I have bought one to take home can’t wait to try it. Thank you for a wonderful stay, hope to see you again in the future.
