  • "Lovely conversion into a very comfortable holiday home with helpful friendly hosts."

Very eco friendly with your own secure garden for dogs. Plenty of grounds to walk around as well as a beautiful flower garden. Would definitely recommend & intend returning next year.

  • "If you’re looking for a peaceful, romantic hideaway, then this is it!"

Really pretty property in beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t fault it - except for one very small suggestion - a shelf in the bathroom (nowhere to put things). The pub next door is also very friendly and dogs are welcome, though if you want to eat - you should book. We would definitely book this cottage again and have already recommended. Thank you so much for a lovely restorative holiday. Sally & John

As guest you are allowed to wander around the beautiful garden and woodland of the very friendly and helpful owner, which are an oasis of peaceful quiet. The property sits a very short walk from the local pub, which serves great food at democratic prices. We highly recommend this holiday home.

  • "Sunnyside is a delightful cottage with every need covered As my husband is slightly disabled we were very pleased that doorways and bathroom catered for his rollator and wheelchair."

Outside there is a flat paved area with glorious planting set around it and garden furniture where we could relax in the sunshine. Sunnyside is aptly named. The owners were very welcoming and extremely friendly, they were delighted to show us their glorious garden and suggested we share their garden, meadow and woods. All in all it was a wonderful week, we enjoyed it so much we decided to book another week later in the year. Thank you Diane and Brian.

  • "Phone signal was poor but WiFi excellent."

Bit frustrating for phoning but small price to pay for being in such a peaceful and inspiring place. Garden is stunning. Beautiful meadow and woods all on site. Charming hosts. Local pub very welcoming and even though I was one my own with my dog I didn't feel uncomfortable. Highly recommended for a relaxed break. The honey made on site is the best I've ever had. I don't normally like it!

Also a whip round all the cobwebs wouldn't be a bad idea, neither if these points would stop us returning to a well positioned cottage for touring the area

The owners have a beautiful garden and woodland to explore, as well as a stream with wooden walkways to get across into the owners' orchard. Pub is very handy-right on the doorstep.

So peaceful and relaxing. It has its own enclosed sunny patio garden, with lovely views across the village and towards the church. The steeple was lite up at night. Hearing the owl hooting every night was so magical. The Cottage it's self was so homely and had every thing you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The Greyhound Public House just a short walk away was very friendly and served excellent food. It was ideally situated to visit places not only in Somerset but also Devon. For us it was the perfect place to stay. So much so we are going to stay later in the year again.

  • "Diane and Brian at Sunnyside were warm and welcoming."

Sunnyside it is a beautiful location and the gardens, private woodland and field were amazing for our little dog. It was incredibly private to the point we really only caught sight of the owner twice. Sunnyside is extremely clean and very well equipped. The small enclosed garden faces south and again is very private. My elderly parents slept in the bedroom on a very comfortable bed. I slept on the bed settee, unfortunately I did have lower back pain before the holiday and the mattress on the bed settee for an adult wasn’t padded enough ( the addition of a better mattress is needed). A child’s weight on it would be absolutely fine. The local pub is 5 minutes away on foot and is under new management and the food was very well priced and absolutely delicious. Diane and Brian make Honey it looks delicious and I have bought one to take home can’t wait to try it. Thank you for a wonderful stay, hope to see you again in the future.
