The property

This wonderfully cosy terrace cottage sits right in the heart of the delightful Teignmouth, a fabulous seaside town on the south coast of Devon.

Tucked away from the charming town centre, head into the property and feel warmed within an instant as the living/dining room comes set with a number of unique touches to make you feel right at home; an electric woodburner is on hand to keep you warm on the cooler evenings.

Step through into a compact yet usefully appointed kitchen, offering a number of excellent appliances housed in tasteful and stylish units.

A set of traditionally steep stairs bring you to the upper floor, the master double room is decorated with peace and comfort in mind, while the twin bedroom can be transformed into a double, should you wish.

Completing the interior is a splendid wet room, a bright and airy setup thoughtfully providing a shower seat.

The scorching Devon sun can be enjoyed from the comfort of your holiday home; take a drink of choice out onto the suntrap courtyard and soak it up while you can.

The wonders of characterful Teignmouth lie within a stone's throw, make the most of its superb range of bars and restaurants, while you can also visit museums, galleries and the stunning beach with its pier.

With great ease, you can venture into the breath-taking Dartmoor National Park abounding in walks, cycle paths and scenery.

Just 15 miles away is the striking city of Exeter.

Dartmoor National Park 12 miles; Torbay 13 miles; Exeter 15 miles.

The historic, seaside town of Teignmouth is situated in South Devon on the mouth of the Teign estuary and boasts a working harbour, sandy beach, Victorian pier, sailing club, diving centre and sea activity centre. The seaward side of the town is known as ‘the Den’ and has elegant Georgian buildings, a large public area with lawns, play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a miniature lighthouse. On the opposite side of Teignmouth are fishing boats and beach huts, plus views of the village of Shaldon and the hills of Dartmoor can be seen. Teignmouth also hosts folk and jazz festivals each year, whilst both the town and Shaldon hold annual carnivals and water regattas. If you decide to venture further afield, there is plenty to see and do close to Teignmouth including; the stunning Dartmoor National Park, the city of Exeter, plus the nearby harbour towns are well worth exploring.
