  • "Fantastic property."

    We had a great time.

  • "We had a great week in the Beach House, well equipped and comfortable for four adults and our dog."

We will definitely be back. The small problem we had on our second day was very quickly responded to by Coast & Country. Just to highlight that the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom may be slightly uncomfortable if anyone in your party is 6ft plus due to the pitched roofs.

  • "We love this property and also went last year as a family."

Only suggestion would be to allow 2 dogs as we always vacuum daily but have to leave one of our dogs out of the family holiday

  • "Wonderful house in an amazing position walking distance to beach and beautiful bays."

We had a fantastic family holiday and have already booked for next year

  • "Our holiday didn't get off to a good start."

We arrived to find a pile of dirty laundry in the hall from the previous guests and the house had not been cleaned as the cleaner had failed to turn up. Coast and Country(Skyes) respond well to my phone call and a cleaner arrived within 30 minutes who was very efficient and helpful. It did mean however that we had to sit around for several hours whist this was done. We received an apology the next day and a bottle of wine. This was much appreciated although as a loyal customer of many years a money off voucher off our next holiday would be even better.

  • "We have stayed here 3 times and it is very good."

The only disappointment was having to buy batteries for the garage zapper which needed replacing.

  • "We thought the property would be nearer the beach than it was but it wasn’t far."

Just being called beach house indicates it is on the beach so a bit misleading. Other than this it was a great property with all we needed

  • "Beautiful setting, conveniently positioned for the beach and very well equipped house."

However the property is not being cleaned properly between guests and desperately needs a refresh of the sitting room sofas which smelt of dogs. We understand it’s a dog friendly house and chose it for this reason, however we expected a more thoroughly cleaned house especially in these current times. We arrived to find dog hairs on the sofas, floor and mats and it hasn’t been cleaned under the sofas for a very long time as it was thick with dirt. The vacuum filters also needed cleaning so it was possible to vacuum what the cleaners haven’t.

  • "Stayed here for my 60th birthday with our daughters and their partners."

We were meant to be abroad but due to COVID had not been able to go. We were so pleased with the house which was ideal for the 6 of us. The house was very well equipped and comfortable. The proximity to the beach and coastal path was excellent. We spent the week walking the coast path. The beaches were also great for kite surfing. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely feedback. We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay at 6 Thurlestone Beach House. It is in a lovely position so close to the beach. We do hope we can welcome you back to the area soon. Property Owner

  • "The property was in a great location, was spacious and well equipped."

We would have re-booked for next year but was disappointed to be contacted a few weeks after our stay to ask whether we had taken books from the property! We would never dream of taking items from a rental property and was offended by the enquiry. Really don’t appreciate being accused of stealing - if items are precious to the owner then they should probably not keep them in the premise when they are not there!

The views are spectacular looking across the golf course and coast. Close to the beach and coastal path allowing a nice walk in either direction to the local pubs for lunch.

  • "We had a few teething problems like working the TV & getting access to the mail box for post for my husband’s birthday."

All the staff were so helpful & polite with the exception of the Operations Manager who was down right rude to me on the phone. Cleanliness could be better. I had to wipe down the plastic tablecloth as it had food marks on it as well as all oven door handles & the toilet brush in the upstairs bathroom was very dirty. Small things but feel they should be mentioned. Apart from the above I would recommend this house. This was our third stay & we really enjoy staying there
