  • "Absolutely fabulous property which met all our needs for a family holiday."

I would say that the directions for finding the property were poor for someone like me who does not use a Satnav. Clearer directions would be helpful as the road system in the area in complicated. It would also be helpful if there were more glasswear for a group of six people and more serving dishes.

    Excellent location too.

  • "Excellent holiday home with comprehensive garden facilities."

Clean and spacious. Could do with more clothes storage in the bedroom off the kitchen and the steps marked with a different colour or similar, as they are all the same colour. No instruction / guidance book was found and it would have been helpful for recycling etc.

  • "The Priory is beautiful inside and outside."

Very spacious, very modern, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Home from home. Everything provided to make your stay a very happy one. The garden is a lovely size with table tennis, table football and a delightful hot tub. Outside furniture to totally relax and enjoy alfresco dining, if weather permits, along with BBQ. Parking adequate for 2 cars, we managed a Ford kuga and vauxhall on the drive. Babbacombe and Odicombe sandy beaches are a 10 to 15 minute minute walk away and you can use the funicular to get up and down to Babbacombe. They are both steep. You may be lucky early morning at odicombe beach and see the seals! Shops, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. Can recommend the Bucanneer, lovely food and friendly management. The location is perfect for visiting lots of different places, Paignton Zoo and Pier are a short drive as is Pennywell Farm. And it was always so lovely to return to The Priory after a day out to properly unwind, relax and chill. We all loved our stay at The Priory and would recommend to everybody. Go, book it, find out for yourself, we were sad to leave.

  • "Excellent property in a lovely location."

Close to shops, bars/restaurants and a number of takeaways. The bedrooms are comfortable and we loved the outdoor seating and garden, a real sun trap. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Lovely apartment."

The place was clean, and spacious. Hot tub was lush! Parking was good, although drive only suitable for one car I would say. Good distance from Torquay, easy to drive down. The owner was very helpful and always replied to our questions on text very quickly. Only downside I would say is that there was no hair dryer, and the main bedroom bed was very uncomfortable. The slats in the bed kept popping out of their socket, meaning that half the bed collapses and you have to put the slats back in. Also the bed moved very easily. If you rolled over in the night, I found the bed moving on the floor. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay here and would likely return again.

  • "A lovely, tastefully furnished property in an excellent location with easy access to local shops and cafes and the beach."

My family really enjoyed using the facilities especially the hot tub and table tennis table. I believe that including some information about local attractions at the property would be beneficial for future families. Overall an excellent base for holidaymakers to explore the Devon.

  • "We had a fantastic stay at The Priory."

The house itself was spacious and clean and had everything we needed with a lovely outside area to relax in. The location was great with beaches and coves in walking distance as were shops and restaurants, and many more options a short drive away. A beautiful location. The only thing we felt would have helped is some sort of information pack detailing the area, best beaches and how to get to them, recommendations as to restaurants, different eateries, location of supermarkets, petrol garages, what days the rubbish was being collected etc. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend.
