The property

This spectacular detached house is situated in the lovely village of Uplyme, near Axminster in Dorset.

Designed with families in mind, The Lookout is a beautiful place to relax, elevated by the warmth of underfloor heating, and an inspiring interior.

The house sleeps eight guests in four wonderful bedrooms presented as two doubles, a king-size and a super king-size, which operates a zip/link function and can be twins on request for flexible sleeping arrangements.

There is also a separate dressing room which is perfect for a little one in a travel cot and the king-size room boasts a fabulous balcony with a glass balustrade.

Sweeping wooden floors adorn the ground level adding a chic, contemporary feel; the snug room is plushly carpeted and provides a cosy space for the kids to watch TV, while you enjoy the ultra-modern interior.

The sitting and dining rooms are connected by a central, designer fireplace, enveloped by stunning, picture bi-folding glass doors, with spectacular countryside views engulfing the property in a haven of natural beauty.

Outside the kids can enjoy the vast lawns and wonderful greenery, while you sunbathe on the patio, benefiting fabulous sea views.

This historic seaside town boasts a maze of narrow streets, with an array of shops and cafes, whilst the sandy beach lends itself to great bathing and watersports, and the bustling little harbour offers regular fishing trips.

Alternatively try your hand at fossil hunting.

Within an easy drive is the quaint town of Axminster.

A lovely place to build some memories.
