On the ground floor are original stone flooring and two wood burning stoves, one in the bright lounge and another in the formal dining room, which is a great space for the special get-together.
On the first floor are three quiet bedrooms, two doubles and a twin.
A private gate leads from the good sized lawned garden of Harford House directly onto the site; you have full use of the facilities including a games room, children’s play area, tennis court and fly fishing (NRA licence and park permit required).
Whether you choose to spend your days taking advantage of the outdoor amenities, or exploring the many and varied of activities that nearby Dartmoor has to offer, including golf, horse riding, tree surfing, mountain biking, white water rafting and canoeing, you're always assured of plenty to do.
For a more relaxed turn of pace, the busy market town of Tavistock is nearby.

This is the perfect destination for country lovers who enjoy the convenience of an interesting town on the doorstep. There is excellent walking on Dartmoor, cycling on The National Cycle Network no. 27, renowned game fishing, gardens of distinction and various National Trust properties nearby. Within easy reach is the maritime city of Plymouth, with its Barbican Quay and the Historic Royal William Yard. Torbay, the Eden Project and the sandy surfing beaches of Devon and North Cornwall are all within an hour’s drive and provide activities to keep all the family happy. Tavistock is a wonderful all-year-round holiday destination.
