“Cindy and her husband are very friendly and helpful.”

The cottage was a very positiv surprise. The water was hot, the heaters as well, the Water pressure is good. The rooms where clean and nice. We slept well. The kitchen has all we needed. The cottage is a very good base to have trips to beautifull places like Bath, Exeter, Lyme Regis, Wells, Glastonbury, Montacute and many other places. I loved the view to the Tor and Looking to the stars in the night. TV with many channels and WiFi worked well. The Pub nearby is a natural beauty and the People very friendly. We like to come back.

The property

This is a delightful, two-bedroom annex to a cottage with separate entrance to the main house, situated in the heart of Somerset with distant views to Glastonbury Tor.

It is a very warm and homey property with beautiful furnishings, two spacious bedrooms and contemporary fixtures.

There is a ground floor king-size double with an en-suite, modern-style bathroom and a door that leads right out onto the front gravelled patio area, a lovely spot to sit out and enjoy the Somerset weather.

The first floor bedroom is accessible via the stairs, and has a beautiful beamed ceiling and a king-size double, leading through to the open-plan living area and bathroom.

There is a cosy kitchen area and dining table in an L-shaped room with views looking out over rolling pastures of the countryside.

Outside there is ample parking at the front and a pub right across the road, ideal for socialising with the locals and indulging in evening drinks.

The village of Barton St David is situated about 5 miles South East of Glastonbury and just 5 miles North East of Somerton, so there is plenty of fun to be had in the area.
