    “The house was very clean and well equipped.”

    The sitting room and conservatory were very comfortable and there was everything we could have wanted in the kitchen. The only issue we had was that we found the bedroom rather cramped. Otherwise fine.

The property

A detached holiday cottage situated on the outskirts of the seaside village of Burton Bradstock, The Beeches is a hidden gem. May you wish for a quiet seaside getaway or an active walker’s and explorer’s holiday for all family to enjoy, The Beeches has all necessary attributes. The property will suit well for families as there’s a separate room with a cot.

It has a large living area boasting with comfy lounge and a conservatory with an enclosed garden where you can relax and unwind after a day spent outdoors. The property boasts a swimming pool available during summer months and sun loungers.

You have an option to take a stroll to the nearest beach too which is a 10-minute walk away in the Freshwater beach. Burton Bradstock has two traditional pubs and we would recommend booking yourselves a table as it can get busy, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

There’s a supermarket and children’s play park.

The town of Bridport is only a short drive away if you wish to do a bigger shopping.

Bridport Golf club nearby accepts all non-members for a play with stunning views over the Jurassic coast.

Around a mile West is a beautiful West Bay with stunning cliffs and pretty harbour. Weymouth with festivals, long and sandy beach, big Old Harbour with yachts and fishing boats passing by and the town bridge are half an hour drive away from the property. If you are looking for a quiet location with a swimming pool for all family to enjoy, The Beeches is a perfect choice.

A wonderful coastal village in Bride Valley on Dorset's picturesque Jurassic Coast, flanked by the River Bride. Burton Bradstock is the perfect spot for a peaceful break on England's south coast, with the South West Coastal Path running alongside for you walking enthusiasts. The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.

Note: the outdoor swimming pool will be open from the 27th May but will not be heated until 17th June through to the 31st August after this date it will be closed for use. Swimming pool is shared with owners and is unsupervised so is used at guests' own risk, the pool and the surrounding pool area hours are 10am to 4pm daily.
