Accuracy of the listing

  • "Hi, whilst we had a lovely holiday there were some issues."

Firstly the property advertising is misleading in that we thought this was a detached property within its own land /garden. Actually it is semi detached on a camping field. Thus we had neighbours not planned for and not appropriate for the holiday we had booked. We did not have any enclosed private area to let a dog off the lead, which meant he was permanently tied up! The cookers had only one shelf each and one did not work properly, burning food on several occasions. The showers need to be decalcified. Wifi was poor making it impossible to work during the week. Many thanks.

  • "Lovely property, clean and spacious in a great location."

My one comment would be that, for the size of the property, instead of 2 washing machines it would be better to have 2 (or one large) dishwasher.

  • "She was really welcoming, called me to make sure if I got her text with instructions."

Very helpful with any issues or enquiries, would definitely recommend.

  • "Lovely property."

We felt it was nicer than the pictures. Bedrooms particularly nice. We struggled to get everyone seated for meals and luckily were eating out for dinner. Tiny dishwasher for the number of people and wifi was really weak. The main photo is taken from an angle that does not help find the property either. A photo of the entrance would help hugely.

  • "It was a nice property with just a little TLC needed, shower upstairs x3 bedroom area leaks, stairs need repairing."

The name of property doesn't match listing as we had problem finding property. The couple who live next door were very helpful. The mattresses on bunk beds you can feel the springs. We found the location very central and excellent for days out.

Enclosed by glorious countryside and residing in the pretty village of East Stoke, lies Lulworth Lodge, a wonderfully spacious holiday home accommodating up to 15 guests and just a short drive from the market town of Wareham.

As well as your own private decked area complete with outdoor furniture, guests of this countryside haven also have access to three acres of beautiful lawned grounds where the children can play with the football net, basketball hoops and tennis table while you sit, relax, and watch the world go by.

Stepping inside, there is plenty of space for your party to gather in the main living/dining room where you can relax and unwind in front of the TV, before moving conversations into the kitchen/living dining space where the head chef of the group can rustle up a tasty meal while you plan your holiday itinerary.

There is also a separate kitchen, which is well equipped with all you need for a self-catering stay, and the convenience of a downstairs shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC can be found on the ground floor.

Moving upstairs, you will discover the five light and airy bedrooms offering a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit all needs; two family rooms, one with a double bed and two sets of bunk beds, complete with an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, and one with a double bed and a single bed, as well as two double bedrooms and a twin room, all served by a bathroom with bath, overhead shower, basin and WC, and an additional shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC.

Visit the beautiful beach at Durdle Door and take a snap of the iconic rock formation rising from the sea and resembling a doorway, before having a dip in the clear waters to cool off after a scenic cliff top walk.

A kayak tour can be arranged locally from Lulworth Cove and is a memorable experience to treasure as you are shown secret little pools, coves and beaches that are only accessible via the sea.

The traditional seaside town of Weymouth is just fifteen-miles away and is a lovely day out for all the family, with its long stretch of golden sands, there are many attractions to keep those of all ages entertained; you can enjoy an ice cream along the pretty Georgian esplanade or tuck into fish and chips on the old harbour whilst watching the boats sail past.
