  • "This was our second stay here and my daughter & I really love the apartment, location & views."

    It was noted that the clock wasn’t working, it didn’t when we last stayed & other than referring to our phones there was no other clock in the property which we feel was needed. The shower temperature control (the right hand side) is extremely difficult to turn to regulate the temperature, but thanks to my trade I was able to realise the problem & just about turn the control to adjust the temperature, which had been left at a very hot (maximum) setting. This issue ideally needs addressing .The only other thing we feel that should be supplied is a hair dryer, or making it clear on the facilities list that there isn’t one. Most holiday properties do supply one. However, these are only minor issues easily rectified & did not detract from another enjoyable stay, & most certainly will not prevent us from booking our next Lyme Regis in this apartment. Thank you.

    Hi Andrew, thank you for your feedback, it's really nice to hear how much you enjoy staying at the flat. It is let on a fully managed service by Lyme Bay Holidays, and they are committed to helping with any issue at the time of your stay, but I have picked your points up with them now. The shower has been a problem for a while, on and off, and I have asked Lyme Bay Holidays to sort it out a few times. I can confirm that I have now had a new shower temperature regulator T bar fitted on the shower, so this should no longer be a problem. Sorry about the clock - I have been meaning to get it replaced for a while. There is a hairdryer provided, in one of the drawers. I will arrange for a replacement to be provided if it has been removed by someone. I sincerely hope you enjoy another stay, and if there is anything missing at the time of your stay please do not hesitate to contact LBH at the time to rectify it. Many thanks. Property Owner

  • "Myself and my family had a lovely stay in this beautiful little apartment."

    Stunning views from the balcony of Lyme Regis. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. A nice little welcome bag was left for our arrival with tea coffee and some local fudge and nice biscuits a pint of milk in the fridge and cleaning essentials. Very peaceful here. Would recommend

    Lovely flat well positioned in village Same comments as before that need addressing limited storage for clothing etc Balcony area needs a bit of TLC Only 2 chairs on balcony but due find 2 others in cupboard Otherwise would come beck again

  • "The listing states 2 car spaces but upon our arrival we were immediately met by a resident who told us we must park park on the sloping drive up to the car park against the wall shown by newly painted numbers for 1 car."

    The main car park was empty all week except for his van and had no markings The flat is advertised to accommodate 4 but the dining table and chairs is folded in the corner but there is no space to put it. There are 2 stools for the breakfast bar and 2 chairs for the balcony. Very limited clothes storage, small wardrobe in main bedroom but no drawers and some drawers in 2nd bedroom too close to the bed for access and no wardrobe. General cleanliness ok but balcony and windows dirty. Living room carpet needs cleaning. Shower not great and difficult to alter temperature if too hot and the bath needs better support as it flexes when stood in. On a positive note the view was fabulous and the weather excellent so we were out most of the time. Would definitely return to Lyme Regis.

    Thank you for your feedback, and I am sorry you were not satisfied with your stay here. There are two car parking spaces allocated for this flat, both of which are alongside the low brick wall opposite the front doors. The windows are cleaned regularly, but as with all properties that face the sea, they are subject to a daily dose of salty air, which very quickly collects on the windows outside. There are additional stools in the cupboard, and there is space for the dining table to be opened easily for use. The shower has recently become sticky and is in the process of being replaced.
