  • "Lovely welcome, this was the perfect property for our short break, we loved the size of the property, easy access etc."

The beds were a little soft for us but that was minor. We managed to get to various locations we wanted to visit, Clarks Village, Sanders Garden centre, Glastonbury, Wells, Bath and we used the Newbridge park and ride in Bath, which is perfect as you head back out towards Wells, Glastonbury and back to Burtle, we found it a brilliant location for easy access to the Mendip hills for scenary, all around Somerset ia very picture perfect. If you need the M5 that was easy, we used the Frome route home and A303 and that was a lovely drive from Glastonbury, Yeovil, then past Stonehenge to Basingstoke and the M3. We will want to stay here again in the future and can see in the visitors book many families come back year on year. Have a great Christmas.

  • "As a family with two wheelchair users our needs are quite specific and it is difficult to find accommodation that adequately meets those needs."

Russet bungalow provided an excellent match for our needs, was well furnished, thoughtfully adapted and a comfortable home for the week. The lack of WiFi was a little disappointing and to help us to rest and relax a dishwasher would have been a nice addition! However, these were minor issues and we would be very happy to return for another stay in the future.

This is the perfect location if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday away even though you were within a 15 minute drive to your shopping delights. This is our 4th visit here and we regard it as a home from home. We would recommend that anyone with any disabilities to stay here as the cottage is catered for your needs. We will be back again soon.

The owner is very welcoming and lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable by leaving us a welcome at the cottage on our arrival of cake, milk and lovely flower arrangements. The cottage is set in a quiet and peaceful place in the countryside and was the ideal stress free holiday. It's disabled facilities are second to none and is suitable for wheelchairs users. There are lots of places to visit and the cottage is central to all. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to it already. We would rate it as a 5* place to stay. Thanks again to Anita, the owner, for another wonderful stay and we will see you again real soon.

It is a very comfortable and wheelchair friendly bungalow and is situated in a quiet and pretty location out in the countryside. For the personal touch, the owner put flowers in a vase, milk and muffins were also left for our arrival which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend a stay here as it is central for all the places you would like to visit. There is also a local shop approximately 2 miles away for anything that you may need and the staff are really friendly. There is also a pub/restaurant located to the right of the end of the drive called The Duck which serves excellent meals if you didn't want to cook. We will be back again soon.
