  • "Beautiful cottage."

Second stay there and looking forward to our next stay. Clean, comfortable and ideal location.

  • "We enjoyed our stay and might return."

However, the sofas in the lounge were dreadful! They really need to be replaced. We would have liked a few more items in the kitchen - serving dishes, covered casserole dish and other oven proof dishes, serving spoons. There were only 5 mismatched wine glasses but 24 champagne flutes! The garden was delightful. The beds were very comfortable. The Sykes description describes the upstairs family bathroom as having a bath with hand held shower and a separate shower cubicle - it doesn’t have a separate shower cubicle.

  • "Lovely comfortable cottage - very well equipped- possibly the best equipped cottage we’ve ever stayed in!"

Comfortable beds- felt like a real home. Lovely garden. A few doors up from the anchor pub which has the best seafood. Right on the main road which, as the only way in and out of Burton Bradstock, is quite busy. Literally walk out of the door and have to be careful with the dog. But we got used to this and it wasn’t too much of a problem. Parking opposite ,though not dedicated. Unfortunately the road was being resurfaced while we stayed there and they only worked during the night. This was very disturbing to us, but won’t affect any future guests.

  • "Loved Cornflower Cottage, great location with some must do walks along the beach and the Three Horse shoes is well worth a visit or two."

(book Sunday lunch well in advance).Everything you will ever need in the kitchen, comfortable beds, the bath and shower were more than adequate and a nice garden. Only negative was the main road at the front can be very noisy and we would never use Sykes again after a bad experience with their customer service.

  • "Beautiful cottage in a lovely village."

The maintenance issues we had (upstairs toilet, leaking roof) were resolved with very little hassle so not a problem. We will definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family!

  • "Stunning cottage."

Very clean and comfortable. The only criticism we would have is that it was very cold on arrival day and the toilet upstairs was blocked from day one.
