  • "A lovely place to stay."

Very convenient for 10 minute walk to beaches and local shops. The only drawback is the shortage of outdoor space but what there is is used maximally. Nice sitting out area which was shaded in the evenings - a must in the recent hot weather.

Inside, you'll find much of the original church still intact, such as stained-glass windows, beams, exposed stonework, and original woodwork and doors, making for an extra special holiday home.

The spacious, open-plan living area invites you to relax after the day's adventures; prepare evening meals in the contemporary kitchen and gather around the rustic table for six, set under a magnificent roof lantern.

After dinner, retire to the sitting area with cushioned seating, a TV, and a stunning bay window reminding you of the property's rich history.

Completing the ground floor is a cloakroom, whilst upstairs you'll find the stylish family bathroom with a freestanding bath to unwind after a day by the sea.

You'll also find the first of three bedrooms, a king-size with original church windows and an alcove with storage for your belongings.

Two more impressive bedrooms are on the second floor, a double and a twin, both with double-height ceilings with original woodwork and carvings.

In the mornings, enjoy your private patio with outdoor seating to plan the day's agenda over your morning coffee.

Totland Bay is a great base to call home during your holiday with convenience stores, and a selection of pubs and restaurants, including The Waterfront Bar & Restaurant overlooking Totland Bay.

This three-bedroom, spacious house is also within easy reach of the village facilities of both Totland and Freshwater, which include supermarkets, a butcher, a baker, a fishmonger, and fish & chip shops too, not to mention the excellent medical and sports centres.

You'll find a range of attractions in the Isle of Wight AONB; discover local heritage at Dimbola Museum & Galleries, take a scenic coastal walk to The Needles Viewpoint and the National Trust coastal fort, and pack your clubs for a game at Freshwater Bay Golf Club.

Be sure to spend a day exploring Yarmouth where Yarmouth Castle, Fort Victoria Country Park, and ferry trips to the port town of Lymington all await.
