The beds were very comfy. The cottage is beautiful and is in a nice location in Downton. We did have a few minor quibbles though, which seem like easy fixes: - There are no locks on the toilet and bathroom doors. This might be okay for families, but for two couples it is not good, particularly as the bathroom door opens to give you a full view of whoever might be in the shower—we made our own Vacant/Engaged signs as a workaround. - There is a nice patio/garden area but no chairs or table to enjoy it. - Hardly anywhere to store food in the kitchen - A lack of bedside tables Overall, however, we loved the property and would happily return.

Thank you for your recent feedback on your stay at Poppy Cottage. We have now got locks on the bathroom doors. And we have purchased an outside table and chairs for the patio area. We value your feedback and look forward to you returning one day. - Sykes owner relations
