“This is a wonderful location and very friendly owners.”

We arrived to a great welcome and some nice goodies in the kitchen to settle us in. The cottage had plenty of space for 6 people, although it was only my wife and I plus Jessie our Cocker Spaniel who were staying for the week. The owners have a happy little Scottie who welcome us and Jessie(our Dog) to the cottage, and with his regular visits during our stay to see how we were getting on. We used the cottage as a centre to travel to and from different places in Dorset, including the Jurassic coast. The garden was great for Jessie, and we spend a fair bit of time enjoying the absolute peace and quiet of the deepest Dorset countryside surrounding the Cottage.

The property

Set behind the owners’ ancient farmhouse, and sensitively converted from a 300-year-old stone barn, Droop Farm Cottage has plenty to offer a group of family or friends seeking to get away from it all.

You will be impressed by the elegant and homely feel throughout, wonderful welcome basket provided with Tracey's own homemade marmalade and cake!
