“Beautiful house, perfect location!”
Arrived at Seafield to a tray of Dorset tea, biscuits, cereals and doggy food topper, which was loved by all (especially the dog). Great touch! The house was well presented, clean, tidy and contained everything you would expect for self catering accommodation (a real home away from home). Idyllic location being a short walk from the beach, even shorter to the nearest pub. So many beautiful walks over the ranges (behind the property) or over to Durdle Door and beyond. If you like a quieter day by the beach, head to Mupe bay or St Oswalds bay. A little further away either side of the cove (20-30 mins, depending on your walking ability), but well worth the trip! The jurassic coast at its best in my opinion.
We were so lucky with the weather when we stayed, so most of our holiday was spent on the beach (much to the delight of my daughter). We also enjoyed the odd bit of sea fishing and trips out to Wareham, Studland nature reserve and Corfe Castle. There really is so much to do and see in and around Lulworth. We went out to eat most evenings, taking advantage of the beautiful weather. Would recommend the Castle Inn and the Lulworth Lodge Bistro, although get there early if you want the whole crab. All in all, a beautiful, comfortable house in equally beautiful surroundings. Cannot reccomend highly enough. We'll be booking again soon that's for sure.
