  • "We had an amazing time in Lulworth Cove."

The booking went very smoothly and the staff were really helpful. Beds were very comfy, the upstairs was super clean, very fresh. The towels were large and fluffy, great plumbing, excellent WiFi, and really couldn't fault anything there. No major complaints, although.... The toaster was broken but this was replaced within 24 hours so no big deal. The freezer door also wasn't shutting properly but again, this was also fixed within 24 hours. And because it is dog friendly the sitting room felt a little bit dusty (at the last minute we decided not to bring our dog). If I'm honest though, I'm being a bit picky and would most highly recommend the company, the cottage and most definitely the location. We had a really amazing time. There was loads to do and with two 14yr old boys to entertain it was so much easier than what we'd anticipated. Thanks so much - we'll be back! Beds

  • "Our 2nd visit and again, have had a wonderful week in/around Lulworth."

As a base, Seafield is just perfect - comfortable & warm & had all we needed. We were able, again, to explore the area & coastal walks. Locally, we were made very welcome & although still restrictions in place, we were able to visit the Castle Inn & access all we needed from Londis & supermarkets a little further afield. Dillon (our dog) thrilled with his welcome card & treats !!! We hope to return... thank you.

Thank you so much for visiting Seafield again. We are so happy to hear you had a wonderful week. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2022! Property Owner

  • "What a beautiful house!"

My husband and I had a really lovely stay. The house was absolutely spotless and the decor was beautiful. the stay was made all the better by the little touches of milk, local treats of Dorset teabags, biscuits, Dorset cereal and even doggy treats and poo bags. Only a stones throw from the cove, pubs, restaurants and some fabulous walks for you four legged friend. Our dogs, Winston and Poppy had a fab time and most place dog friendly too. We will definitely stay here again and throughly recommend this beautiful house.

  • "The quality of the accommodation is excellent."

It is also spacious and comfortable, clean & welcoming. Superb location within minutes of beach one direction & Londis & the Castle Inn in the other. Great to have a parking space in front of the house....where our car remained for the first 5 days, as we went on some wonderful coastal walks right from the front door.

  • "A fantastic weekend in a beautiful cottage and being so close to the sea was a real treat!"

The cottage was a super place with enough space for us to spread out. Just a couple of niggles which we had to buy e.g. tin foil, kitchen towel, salt. Apart from that, a most fabulous weekend, thank you.

  • "Seafield (no 2) is a lovely deceptively spacious Edwardian 3 story end of terrace in a great position - 5 minute walk to the cove and to the start of the coastal path to durdle door, not to be missed and worth the effort!"

House is well equipped (actually had 2 good sharp kitchen knives which helps with cooking) but didn't seem to have a hairdryer. Might be worth mentioning in the description as its a fairly common piece of equipment, luckliy we'd taken one just in case. Bedrooms were large with comfy beds. Little terrace garden not terribly useful for us, but who needs that with Dorset and the Jurassic coast at your doorstep. Parking might be an issue in high season as the neighboring properties all seem to have coned off areas for their residents or guests. We didn't think the photos did it justice - would recommend to anyone looking for a family house at a reasonable price (we were 4 adults and 2 children) Weymouth a great traditional seaside town, with safe beaches and lots of activities, only 14 miles from Lulworth.

Thank you for the feedback.. Glad you enjoyed the stay. We will add a hairdryer to the property. We hope to welcome you back again soon! Property Owner

It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and it was only a short stroll from the beach of beautiful Lulworth Cove, which also has some good restaurants and AMAZING local ice cream and fudge! We’ll definitely be back!

About the location

WEST LULWORTH

Wareham 9.1 miles; Weymouth 14.7 miles

West Lulworth boasts some of the most dramatic geological features on the Jurassic coastline and arguably the most photographed locations in the UK. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door sit at the heart of this area and really are a must see. Lulworth Cove has many little café’s and beachside shacks serving local seafood, ice cream and other delights, as well as several restaurants and pubs from which to choose. There is an Lulworth estate information centre which offers an insight into how the cove and Durdle door were formed and Jurassic history of the region. If you tire of Cove and cliff top walks then Lulworth Castle is a short drive away and offers another glimpse at some more recent history, along with Tyneham Village, and Corfe Castle. This is a really special area and the village retains a lot of it’s thatched cottages and has a real air of a rural retreat.
