The property

A captivating cottage, Little House poses as the perfect retreat for you and your partner to enjoy a tranquil trip in the county of Hampshire.

Settled next to the manor itself, this modest and charming cottage is ideal for couples looking to be situated within a bustling village surrounded by plenty of action in the neighbouring areas.

Open up the traditional wooden door of the property and head up the stairs into the hub of your home for the week.

Put down your bags and recline into the sofa with a cup of tea amongst the electric fire, a snug and stylish spot, the sitting area of the property is where you will most likely spend your lazy evenings with the television on, a fabulous place to spend some quality time with your loved one.

Once you’ve settled in, take your bags to the bedroom found just beyond the inviting blue-panelled archway, hang your belongings in the conveniently arranged storage spaces at the sides of the doorway and take a nap on the king-size bed before heading out to explore your surroundings.

The bedroom also offers you an ideal spot to get ready for your day ahead, with an endearing dressing table and plenty of natural lighting shining through the window and into the crisp white room, you’ll be ready in no time and won’t ever have to worry about who gets the bathroom mirror first.

In the evenings, whip up a wholesome meal in the kitchen area which you can enjoy around the dining table before retreating to the window seat for a spot of reading, a pleasant space with a tranquil aura, it’s the best spot in the house to unwind.

Outside also hosts an enchanting garden, perfect for enjoying some alfresco dining head to the courtyard amongst the shrubs and take in the settings under the sun.

The local area is tranquil, take a stroll into your surroundings before jumping in the car and heading to the nearby village of Wellow, here you can find a wide selection of fantastic amenities, giving you the opportunity to dine out in one of the gastro pubs as well as even holding an ice cream shop for dessert, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to cuisine.

The village also holds a golf course, tennis courts and fishery for the avid outdoorsman, bringing you an action-packed day out.

East Wellow also has a strong historical connection with Florence Nightingale, who is buried alongside her family in St Margaret’s Church.

The nearby centre of Romsey with it's 12th century abbey and home of the Mountbatten Family, offers visitors a fine selection of shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs to choose from.

Wellow is a wonderful village, known to collectively hold both the villages of East Wellow and West Wellow. The village predominantly displays architecture from the 20th century, with some older thatched cottages, presenting you with a quirky combination which houses a fantastic array of amenities.
