  • "Quiet, clean, roomy, the perfect location for a week's summer holiday."

Easy to get everywhere, less than an hour from the coast and close enough to bigger towns if needed. Really well maintained and the hosts were on-hand for any minor requirements.

  • "Home from home, everything you could need and more."

Neat and tidy home, baby gates being installed were such an added bonus that was not expected but definitely appreciated, as was the cake left for us and milk so we could have a drink as soon as we arrived after a 6 hour journey! Great location to use a base while exploring Dorset and ideally located for us while our son was racing at Clay Pigeon Kart track. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return. Thank you

Clean and tidy, everything worked, nice comfortable furniture and beds. Lovely quiet setting with rail station and excellent local pub. Wouldn't think twice about staying there again, lovely. Thank you

Cleanliness and general presentation was of the highest order!

  • "We had a lovely stay at Lanes End (4 adults and 2 children)."

I rang the owner beforehand and they arranged for stairgates to be fitted which was helpful. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked utensil wise - everything we needed had been provided. The washing line in the garden was useful with pegs provided. We fitted 2 cars on the driveway comfortably. It was lovely to sit in the garden in the evening and see so many stars! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
