  • “Unfortunately we had a dreadful stay at Tarada The property has a blue fly light on constantly in the dining area which is odd.”

On entering the house it was immediately obvious that it had lots of plug in air fresheners to try and mask the awful smell of damp. This damp could be felt throughout the house and in the very comfortable beds. So our clothes were damp and the bedding was damp. My 72 year old father ended up coughing whenever we were in the house. The drawer was dirty as were the dishes and cutlery amongst other things. We also found bugs in the drawer. Toilet seat broken, tap on the bath works when it feels like it and mouse muck in the en-suite. Unfortunately we didn’t contact the property management team so it’s our fault we stayed at the property according to the owner and Sykes. I did take photographs of the damp walls that were soft to the touch which I don’t have the option to put in this review but I will try to put them on a review elsewhere as I feel the property needs an honest review available for future guests. I hope that the owner and Sykes take this complaint seriously and the property is sorted out as it could be lovely just not safe for anyone elderly or that has any breathing problems
