  • "When we arrived we were told by the Person at the caravan that there was a leak by the bathroom which would be fixed which it wasn't which left a damp smell whilst we stayed the grill in the oven wasn't clean the cupboard s had food in them as well as the freezer."

The furniture outside could not be used as the cushion s were dirty nor could the barbecue be used as it was very unclean to be honest it didn't look as if it has been cleaned for a while

  • "The accommodation was smaller than we had anticipated and than it looked in the photographs."

It was advertised as being available for up to eight people, we were three adults in our party and we found it a little cramped. I suppose it might be OK if there were mainly children in the party. The seating area was uncomfortable for me with a bad back, The smallest bedroom was very cramped. The equipment provided was mainly excellent although some of the utensils were so marked we didn't use them. The main problem with the equipment was that the DVD player was not working and the owner said he didn't know how it worked, and as the TV reception was not good (even though we followed the instructions on retuning) we weren't able to watch any TV or DVDs while we were there. We wanted to have some food delivered from your restaurant one evening but were told that service is no longer available so we had to collect ourselves, which wasn't a big problem but when we got the food back to the lodge we found that we didn't have all the chips we had ordered and there was no sauce with the battered prawns. We couldn't be bothered to go all the way back to the restaurant so we put up with it. The quality of the food was not up to the standard we expected. The prices in the spa were very expensive.
