    The house was amazing, beautifully decorated, v clean, comfy, with lots of lovely touches and the host was v informative and attentive but left us to ourselves. Would absolutely recommend staying here as also easily accessible to the beach, lots of walking from your doorstep, good restaurants and pubs and Clark’s shopping outlet a drive away! Also a trip to Glastonbury to get views from the Tor Thank you for our welcome chocolate cake and cream tea on the last day!! Will definitely be telling friends to visit

While you're in the area, take a drive towards the ancient market town of Langport, which has a selection of traditional pubs and restaurants for those interested in sampling some local delicacies.

Further afield is the bustling town of Yeovil which hosts a range of popular tourist attractions that are a must-see during your trip.

The Ninesprings Country Park is within reach and spans across 20-acres, the perfect opportunity to take your four-legged friend on an adventure.

For a spot of history, you can visit the National Trust property of Montacute House, dating back to the Elizabethan period.

Or venture further afield to the wonderful Mendip Hills AONB for all manner of countryside walking, hiking up hills and many cycling routes.

The ancient market town of Langport lies at the heart of the Somerset levels, at the crossing point of the River Parrett, mid-way between the county town of Taunton and Yeovil. Its central location makes it a thriving hub for local villages and an ideal base to explore the surrounding area, as well as the Somerset Levels, one of England’s most unchanged Landscapes. The ancient beauty and diverse wildlife of the area makes it one of the landscapes that have inspired many artists and photographers as well as drawing visitors from all over the world. The surrounding countryside teeming with pretty villages and quiet country lanes with footpaths and cycle trails to explore the picturesque Somerset Levels. Somerset is rich in wildlife and is one of the country’s top areas for birdwatching. It also offers a heritage railway, where visitors can take a trip on longest standard gauge line in the country.
