Wookey Hole is a small village in Somerset, England. The village is famous for its Cave attraction, where visitors can explore a 60,000 years’ worth of history within a series of limestone caverns where the River Axe flows through. From here you will have access to miles of walking and cycling routes with stunning scenery. Such routes include the nearby beautiful Ebbor Gorge, which is a limestone gorge, housing an area of woodland with walking routes suitable for all abilities. Throughout this walk you will find small streams, perfect for paddling or cooling down during the hotter months. The city of Wells, with its cathedral and bishops’ palace is only 2 miles away where you will find weekly markets and cafes, restaurants and pubs. Wells also has a quaint cinema.
