    Crossways was a lovely cottage and very comfortable, we enjoyed the setting and lovely village walks and the convenience of a pub just down the road.

We would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore the local area, be fairly close to local facilities and yet have a peaceful stay, thank you for nice week.

The property

This pleasant end-terrace cottage is set in the quiet village of Maiden Bradley near Warminster within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The cottage provides spacious accommodation for families and friends who wish to explore the wonderful countryside of Wiltshire and the nearby cities of Bath and Wells.

The village has all the amenities you could need with a community shop, a pub, Post Office and churches. Nearby is the market town of Warminster situated at the head of the lush Wylye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Well known for its military connections, the old charm of the town centre has been preserved, where you can still find quaint houses and inns built from the local Chilmark and Bath stone. Nearby there are lovely walks in abundance, whilst no visit to this area would be complete without exploring the stunning house, gardens and safari park at Longleat. Alternatively, visits to the magnificent cities of Bath and Salisbury, or sites of Stourhead and Stonehenge are not to be missed.
