"Lovely stay at this property,in a nice village with a great pub with very good food."
Owners and their little dog most welcoming would recommend it for a base to explore the local areas from Weymouth to Bournemouth.
"Lovely warm welcome from the hosts on arrival with milk in the fridge and a plate of biscuits."
The annex is cosy and well equipped with all you need for your stay. It’s in easy reach of the coast and many attractions such as Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Swanage steam railway all worth a visit.
"Great little garden cottage."
We used it as a base to work from home and visit family. Great beaches and sights are very close. It was extremely comfortable with all the conveniences thought out. Wifi was decent and bed was super comfortable The host were friendly and the surrounding village was lovely. The only negative is that the shower needs replacing. It's very weak and hard to manoeuvre in the small eaves space. We would definitely return.
Thank you for your positive feedback. Glad that you enjoyed your stay. As you realize, it is a 'Power Shower' so should be strong. I will certainly check it out and take action if it is faulty. Property Owner

Great country retreat in a beautiful village. Highly recommended.
"The cottage was perfect for me and in a lovely location - ideal for exploring more of Dorset and for local walks."
Pub serving good food within walking distance.
"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, not at all obtrusive. Property very warm and cosy with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend. Good base for touring round the area. Also found village very friendly with lovely village pub Royal Oak (great food). Will definitely visit Dorset again.
"Our first sightseeing on arrival was oh this looks good."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, warm and welcoming cottage."
A great location to explore in all directions in a friendly village with good pub and shop.
"Laurie & Sue really go the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable."
They are very welcoming without being intrusive. We were provided with all the facilities needed and able to relax with a hot drink and biscuits after our long drive. Their love for Dorset is captivating and local knowledge is very useful. The apartment is comfortably furnished and a lot of thought has gone into every detail. We particularly enjoyed being able to sit in their beautiful garden at the end of a busy day. Their little dog Anna was a sweetie and tolerated our more bossy hound. The shower was a challenge for a 6 footer, but we loved Milford St Andrew, the pub, the area with plenty of good dog walks and a very comfortable apartment to return to.
"Ideal accommodation for my wife and I along with our dog."
Excellent location to explore both east and west along the Dorset coast set within the grounds of a lovely thatched cottage. Everything you could need of a home from home.
"We were very happy with the little england cottage and also the friendliness of the owners sue and laurie."
The setting was in a beautiful spot in a lovely area of dorset and we could not fault the accommodation at all and may return again some day ,we had a lovely week and were made most welcome including our pet dog amber.
"What a lovely, cosy and comfortable cottage, perfectly situated for exploring Dorset and beyond!"
Laurie and Sue were such welcoming hosts, with a wealth of helpful local knowledge but also gave us our privacy and space. Little England Annex was well equipped, clean and cosy, with a beautiful garden space and footpaths on the doorstep - perfect for dog walking! We didn’t want to leave - there was so much to do in the locality - but we will certainly be back in the future. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxed and restorative holiday.
"A lovely property ideal for 2 to enjoy this lovely part of the country."
Our hosts were most welcoming and helpful. Many of the areas attractions within easy drive and walks from the doorstep. And to cap it all a really fine village pub within walking distance!!
"The owners were welcoming and informative of the area."
It was a great location close to all the places we wanted to visit. The cottage had everything that was needed and was perfect for our young dog as well. A great staycation for the three of us to explore Dorset.
"Lovely place ."
Hosts are wonderfull we really enjoyed our stay.
"Nice comfortable accommodation."
BBQ was not available as stated - owners did not expect to be asked for it's use. Would suggest that this property is probably £150-£175 overpriced.
"Little England is a lovely cottage set in the garden of a of a beautiful thatched home owned by Laurie and Sue."
They are a very friendly helpful couple who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and are happy to provide advice on the local area. The cottage itself is clean, comfortable and well equipped, you can also make use of the main garden and sun loungers to relax after a day exploring the beautiful Dorset coast and countryside. Milboune St Andrew is a nice village well positioned for visiting the main attractions, it has a small shop and local pub that serves good food. We would certainly recommend staying and will return again.
"Such a lovely cottage."
So clean and peaceful. Lovely owners in the nearby cottage who were lovely; never intrusive and greeted us on arrival with information regarding to the local area. Just a tiny recommendation that a linen basket would have been handy. The weather was so warm, that I could have pegged the washing outside had there been this facility, rather than using the tumble drier. (A washing line behind the kitchen outside would have been ideal). The bed was super comfy. I would therefore highly recommend this cottage
"The photos of this gorgeous little holiday home do not do it justice - it is roomy and beautifully presented."
Everything you need is there. And it is within easy walking distance of a pub that does excellent meals. Ideally situated to explore the lovely county of Dorset, we visited many different places during our stay. We hope to stay again soon!
"It was great to have free access to a lovely garden."
"Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the country."
It was spacious and extremely well planned and maintained. The hosts were super helpful and couldn't do enough without being intrusive.
"A cosy little cottage run by a very lovely and friendly couple."
Just a perfect size for 2 people, in a quiet village with some nice local walks. Perfectly located for many of Dorset's attractions, including Monkey World, National Trust properties and local landmarks.
"Given the current Covid circumstances we were a little unsure of what to expect in terms of comfort versus cleanliness, but our expectations were totally unfounded in Little England annexe."
Our hosts were there to welcome us and give us the rundown. Although they had had to remove some items (we assume decor related) to be able to keep areas free for deep clean, it was very comfortable and very spacious, something that we appreciated with our labrador! Would most certainly stay here again when visiting this lovely area.
"Great property owners, comfortable accommodation and highly recommend Little England Annex Cottage."
"It may look like a garage but on the inside it’s very nicely fitted out and equiped with everything you could need."
Hosts were very welcoming. Main drawback was the low ceiling in the shower. Good location for getting about the Dorset coast & in these Covid times close to quieter country pubs for eating out.
