"Excellent place to stay."
Really enjoyed our break.

"Very comfortable and well equipped house in a great position for exploring the countryside and coastal areas as well as being within easy distance of both Weymouth and Dorchester."
Watersports at Portishead a winner, great variety of beaches

"A nice property and we enjoyed our stay."
A nice big kitchen table, and nice comfortable lounge with large tv. The upstairs shower door, sealant, and controller need maintenance (only ranges between pretty hot to very hot). The downstairs shower was very nice but needs fresh sealant too. The kitchen was nice to cook in with good sized fridge freezer. The aga was nice to use but the two ring hob was lacking in power and we couldn't get the outer ring on at all.
Thank you for your useful feedback Adrian, the plumber has been contacted to look at the shower and door asap. Will investigate the hob too. Property Owner

"Emmies was such a lovely cottage!"
Beautiful location, extremely clean, easy parking, very quiet road but close enough to all the excitement this part of Dorset has to offer. We loved how pet-friendly it was; loved the kitchen and underfloor heating, loved that the house had a good Smart TV, wi-fi, and a washing machine/tumble dryer. The beds and seating were very comfortable and nicely furnished, and there were plenty of plug sockets for our family of 5 to plug our devices in to charge. Also really liked the personally written guest information folder - that was a nice touch. The only thing I could suggest to improve Emmies would be a little welcome pack of something like a few local biscuits and a small milk carton to accompany the tea and coffee sachets that were supplied. After a long drive, it’s nice to be able to just sit and make a cup of tea! This is a small detail, as everything else was just right.

"A very spacious and beautiful renovated cottage with historical features."
There is plenty of space and a place to work with a laptop or read a book (well, there are many places in the house). There is a dedicated desk and office executive chair, so i had an excellent work-mix-holiday week. We stayed for 2 weeks, and our dog also loved the freedom. The kitchen is super equipment which high-quality appliances. I learned how to operate an AGA and never look back! The property hosts are super helpful and answer phone calls or text messages. There are many hidden gems and walkways. by foot - within 15 mins, you can be hidden in a forest walkway or access the coastal / beach view. With the car, you reach many popular locations within 15-30 mins drive Dorest has to offer. .e.g Luthorw Cove, Dorchester, Upwey. Preston/Weymouth etc. We will be back for a more extended stay next time.

"This cottage is lovely."
It has everything we needed, very clean, spacious, homely and well positioned. We did book to take our dog but didn’t in the end but he would have loved it. However there is no garden to speak of just a small courtyard so be aware of that.

"A perfect cottage for a family holiday."
The garage utility room was very useful.

"It’s a pretty cottage in a beautiful village and we were very happy during our week there."
As a ‘Townie’ cooking on an Aga for the first time was a challenge! But I soon got used to it and now understand why so many people swear by them. I hope we can come back to Emmie’s one day.

"An extremely well equipped cottage with a brillant selection of games and books for little and bigs ones!"
Which was more than enough space for my family. Very comfortable living room space to relax in after a busy day exploring Dorset. A little too far for us to walk to the pub (closest one just at the end of the road currently closed) but lovely farm shop within Walking distance. Would very happily stay again at the lovely Emmies.

"Very well equipped house, really comfortable bedding, great level of supplies for a toddler which helped to keep entertained with new toys."
Great location.

"Such a lovely cottage in the village of Osmington."
Perfect location with lots of local walks. The beds were extremely comfy and the property had lots of pots and pans for those who like to cook when away. More than comfortable for 6 people. We will look back on our time at Emmies very fondly. Would recommend to anyone considering.
