This is a beautifully restored original railway wagon built in the 1920s, sitting in Marshwood.

The village is situated on the northern edge of the Marshwood Vale which leads to the gorgeous fishing town of Bridport and West-Bay.

Closer to home is Lyme Regis just 8.5 miles away and just 3 miles away from Hawkchurch, on the border of Devon Dorset and Somerset.

Set in the grounds of the owner's small holding, this accommodation is perfect for those looking for a rural retreat, with sheep, pigs, hens and ducks roaming the surrounding fields.

Hawkchurch is a village in Devon, England, 3 miles north east of Axminster on the border of Devon and Dorset, and about 6 miles south of Somerset. It is 4 miles north of the tourist and fishing village of Lyme Regis. Hawkchurch has a village shop which is run as a community venture. The village pub, The Old Inn, is a traditional coaching house and a hostelry which has been on the site since 1543. Nearby Axminster, which is one of Devon’s prettiest smaller towns, and has many attractions, including plenty of privately owned shops, a weekly market and excellent old inns, with one dating back 100 years with its own resident ghost! The seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer visitors with many craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes.
