The property

Uniquely placed on the borders of Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset, just moments away from the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge and only a short drive from the historic cities of Salisbury and Bath, is where you will find Bay Tree Cottage.

This enchanting stone-built cottage dates back to the mid-18th century while enjoying contemporary features, is ideally located to explore this wonderful part of the country, with the New Forest National Park resting within easy reach and the Jurassic coast including Weymouth and Bournemouth.

The accommodation is ideal for families to enjoy a well earned break, with a spacious, well equipped and sociable kitchen with a separate dining room perfect to enjoy family feasts.

The large living room offers the perfect place to relax after a day's sightseeing with a large Smart TV, and wood burner.

Don’t forget to check out the village’s attractions, from the local Tennis Courts and Tourist Board, to the stunning churches and the Castle Hill hiking area.

The famous Longleat Safari park is also close by and well worth a visit.

If you are one for walks then you will not be disappointed, within a few minutes of walking from the cottage you will be in the heart of this stunning countryside with some of the most magnificent views in England, including those through Stourhead, where you can also pause for a tour of Stourhead House.

The delights of Frome, Shaftesbury and Gillingham are also within reach, offering more amenities and things to experience.

A delightful country town of old stone cottages set in a stunning conservation area, on the borders of Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset. This small, lively community is well served by a good variety of local shops and ancient inns, with much of the area to the north of the town designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ideal for walking and taking in the breathtaking views, the town is also well placed for exploring numerous National Trust attractions and historic houses.
