  • "We had a really lovely stay at Shippon Barn."

The welcome hamper and afternoon tea with homemade scones and jam were a nice surprise to be greeted with. The property was absolutely spotless, very comfortable and well equipped. There was lots to do in the area, we wish we’d had more time to explore. We’ll definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time.

The barn was generally tidy, however the floor was not really clean, there were food crumps on dining chairs, and the plates and glasses were not all clean. The double bed was a bit springy and the twin room lost heat very quickly and cold at night. Heating control was complicated and electricity cut out during the night and reset the hot water control result in having cold shower. Location is good though, not too far from Yeovil town.
