"We had a lovely stay at Admiral's Quarter."
Perfect location for us. The property was generally comfortable and clean, though a few areas could do with attention, very dusty skirting boards but notably the bathroom was the problem due to the extraction fan not working. We did pop in to Dream Cottages office to let them know at the start if our holiday, but heard no more from them. The walls around the bath/shower area had black mould and there was black gunk where the shower screen was attached to the bath. It has obviously been building up for some time and should be given a proper clean. This is a shame as otherwise everything was fine.

"We had a Lovely Holiday."
Thank you for leaving some milk in fridge & a box of coffee & tea etc. It was very much appreciated. It made our holiday. Beautiful inside & outside. It was great to be near all amenities. Thank you again. From Katie & Pete & Sandra

"We had a lovely stay at Admirals Quarter."
Location is great and secure parking is a bonus. We arrived to a lovely hamper including tea and a pint of milk which was very welcome after a long jourmey. The apartment is comfortable and decorated beautifully and spacious enough for 2 adults and a teenager. There are plenty of utensils in the.kitchen and although we didn't eat in very much you could easily cook a meal. One of the windows in the.main bedroom didn't open which meant it was a bit stuffy on a hot day but other than that we have no complaints at all and would definitely stay again.

"Lovely apartment, quiet and close to the old harbour."
Would recommend, however the electric gate did not work with the code given. Luckily each time, someone was coming out or a resident let us in. We were only there for 2 nights, if a week then I would have phoned the office. The double bedroom window did not open and it was quite hot so this would be bothersome if the weather was a lot warmer. Had to open the living room windows and front door for cooler air.

"We had a lovely time at Weymouth and loved the accommodation but and it is a big but!"
!! Nobody warned us about the very steep path from Harbour to our accommodation. It was incredibly steep and then a short incline towards a short but still steep hill into the accommodation. We are both in our seventys I consider myself quite fit and I found it hard but my husband has Rheumatoid Arthritis and really struggled. We only went out once a day so as he didn't have to attempt it twice.

"The flat was situated in a gated community with a handy parking space."
The flat was very clean, tidy and well presented, with all of the modern amenities that you could wish for during your stay. Location is fantastic, with just a short walk to the harbour, local pubs and town. We had a great weekend.

"A great location with secure parking and easy access into the harbour and town not needing to move the car, The apartment is a good size with everything you need, very comfortable throughout with a great shower."
The Hamper with Milk was a nice addition allowing us to have a drink as soon as we arrived, would book this apartment again.
Thankyou for your wonderful feedback really appreciated and so happy you enjoyed your time away and look forward to welcoming you back in the future Property Owner

"We had a lovely week at 5 Admirals Quarter, the surroundings were quiet & our car was parked safely behind the electric gates."
The welcome pack & milk were perfect especially after a 5 hour drive! Both the bed & the suite were comfy, but the only thing I would have expected for a property sleeping 3/4 people would be a 4 slice toaster instead of the two sliced toaster at the property.

"Loved the place best cottage ever had for parking ."
nice and quiet. everything needed is there and lovely fresh and clean throughout. welcome pack was a really lovely and thoughtful surprise.

"The apartment is fantastic however the bushes near the door could do with a trim, it's also very hard to locate the lock when returning home after dark so could do with a light in the porch area."
-
"A lovely place to stay really made it a great holiday so close to brewers quay there's a bit of a hill /slope to go up and down to get to town if walking it was only 5 mins away from the harbour."
Very clean and comfortable beds too. The apartment is in a gated area and the other residents were very friendly and we would definitely return. A very nice place to stay and the welcome box was an added surprise with a pint of milk too very unexpected but much appreciated. Would like to also say staff at dream cottages are such nice people that's why we always book with them we had a great holiday thankyou
As the new owner of the apartment you’re positive feedback is much appreciated and look forward to you returning in the future Property Owner

"The apartment is a perfect location to explore all that Weymouth offers."
On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome box, which included a pint of milk (in the fridge). We have stayed at the flat before and did notice the new carpets in the bedrooms. The flat has everything you need, we did not use the oven, but everything else was up to standard and good working order. The bathroom does become rather steamy but if you leave the light in with the door shut this solves that issue. The only suggestions for improvement is to invest in new mattress for the double bed, it seems to have lost its bounce. The sofa is not as comfortable as it could be, updating it would be beneficial. Lastly, replace the rug with one that doesn't trap/hide sand and crumbs. I have to say none of this would stop me from coming back and probably will be next year. Added bonus to this apartment is the close proximity to The Northe Tavern and The Gallery Bistro, both excellent service and delicious food. We had a lovely holiday.

"Unfortunately when we arrived scaffolding has been erected."
it would have been polite to notify us of this. The room was very dark due to the sun being blocked by the wooden walkways which did spoil our enjoyment.
-
"We’ve stayed here twice before so knew what to expect."
The welcome box of goodies and milk where a nice surprise.Unfortunately so was the scaffolding and generator outside our front door!!I think Sykes Cottages could have had the courtesy to have warned us.The fact that the work was completed a warning would have been nice. The scaffolding made the room very dark and the thought that builders may turn up any time didn’t make for a relaxing holiday
-
"Great, very close harbour and town centre."
Property in superb condition and very comfortable.

"We weren’t told about the generator right outside the door… all week!"
!! We rang the office complaining about it and they said they would try and get it sorted and would ring us back the next day… we are still waiting for the call… the main oven doesn’t work .. thank god the top oven did…. The flat itself was spotless but we would not return there as we were fed up with having to dry the walls down and mopping the floor every time we used the shower… the bushes outside the door where the key holder was need cutting back as my husband has his arm ripped open by them
Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you found the flat to be spotlessly clean. We informed all guests that would be affected by the building works at the end of May and we are sorry the phone lines cut off when we were updating you, hopefully you received our email. It is a shame you did not report the oven not working during your stay so we could have tried to fix it at the time, we will be investigating this further. Admiral's Quarter has gardeners attend regularly but if this was reported at the time we would have arranged for the bush to be cut back. We hope you welcome you back to Dorset in the future.
