I was delighted to find Pointers View on Sykes when looking for this years stay. It's the best property we have stayed in at Weymouth. Has everything we need and in perfect location

I would recommend this property it is in a great location very near to the harbour, but is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as it’s up a very steep road,the property itself is very spacious quality fittings except for a very squashy corner sofa,the bedding is very good,the kitchen is well equipped but better cloths and washing up sponges are needed as is bigger tea towels,usually I take my own but this time I didn’t ,I would stay again anytime

There was a problem with the heating which we couldn't get to work but a lovely gentleman from Dream Cottages bought us some oil radiators and once they'd been on a few hours, it started to warm up. Couldn't fault the flat, it was a fantastic week. Yvonne and Dave

Very quiet and peaceful. Everything we could need was provided. My apologies for not emptying the fridge; I forgot. I only realised my error when I arrived home and found I had no milk, eggs or cheese. I had intended taking the contents of the fridge home. I'm sorry about that. Senior moments are occurring increasingly more often.

We had a fabulous time and will definitely re-book in the future. Little niggle and it may sound trivial but the presence of Oven gloves and an extra tea towel would be a bonus but we’d remember to take next time!

Small things that have quite an impact on the ambiance of the place.

"The apartment is set in a lovely gated complex."
The garden at the back has great views over Newton cove and across towards Portland Bill. The location is quiet and within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants and pubs. The one thing missing in the bathroom is a two pin socket for charging electric razors etc. so don’t forget to pack a socket adapter. We would certainly book here again if going to Weymouth.

"The property is almost perfect,fantastic position for the harbour quarter where the choice of pubs and restaurants is excellent."
The only problem we found was that the designated parking space is very difficult to get into. The roads leading the the appartment complex are all very narrow with cars parked very badly.
