  • "Spacious and very clean."

Provided all we need (although not being provided with tea towels was a nuisance).

Dear Mr T H, Thanks for taking the time to review your stay, so pleased you liked the property. We do normally provide tea towels so I apologise that they were missed on the inventory, if anything ever appears missing just let us know as we would have been pleased to drop them in as we have staff on site each day during working hours. Hope to see you again in the future, all the best Helen and the team. Property Owner

But to no avail it did not work , she went out and purchased a plug in two ring unit and the hob was replaced on Monday. Excellent Customer care

Lots of room inside and very high quality. Great views of the fields with horses grazing from upstairs. Parking right outside the door which is always a bonus. Can't rate it highly enough.

  • "Amazingly equipped, lovely base close to everything in Weymouth."

We loved it as did our doggy! Couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely come back.

  • "Location nice, could have been cleaner, skirting boards all dirty, windows downstairs in lounge haven’t been cleaned in a while."

Property could do with the addition of door hooks in bedrooms and bathrooms. Coasters to put cups/glasses on, couple of egg cups and maybe a slotted spoon.

A lot bigger than it looks on the photo's. Would recommend to anyone. Dogs welcome and even given dog biscuits on arrival. Thank you for a great week.

It was easy to find and close to local attractions. The owner was friendly and helpful, both before and during our stay. We had a lovely trip!

  • "A fantastic stay in a fantastic cottage."

Everything you could need including dog bowls ready on arrival. The cottage is spacious, modern, clean and really comfortable with everything you could need for a relaxing break. Added touches that made all the difference to our family of four (with two teenagers) were the smart Tv's in each bedroom, reliable wifi, plenty of kitchen equipment, washer dryer and enclosed private garden. Location is perfect, far enough out of Weymouth the be relaxing, with plenty of safe parking, yet close enough to enjoy the town, beaches and surrounding area. Loads to do locally. We would highly recommend The Elm Tree pub in nearby Langton Herring and the Duck farm shop/cafe on the road to Portisham.

  • "We were delighted with Dirdale but, for your information, the mirror light and the fan in the upstairs bedroom do not work."

Also, the kitchen needs some large bowls (for pasta etc.). We had to buy some. And finally, perhaps the dustpan and brush should be put in the cupboard as we didn't find it until we were walking out the door! We're walking the fabulous South West Coast Path and, although a drive away, Dirdale was an excellent base.

  • "Lovely accommodation and location."

Very quiet and peaceful with great dog walks all around. We also loved seeing the horses in the nearby stables. Only downside and this is probably very picky, there were quite a few flies downstairs in the property due to being so near the stables. However, that wouldn’t put us off coming back. All in all a super week. Would strongly recommend.

The only shame was the late arrival time and early departure time.
